Our 4 lodging options
1. The Lodge is situated in the heart of the small archipelago at the juncture of the Napo and Amazon rivers.
Easily accessible from the city of Iquitos: 3 hours by speedboat or 5 hours with the lodge boat.
We have comfortable four-person dormitories with bathroom or in two-person bungalows with dressing room and bath.
The common room can be likened to a balcony overlooking the forest. Surrounded by century-old trees, giant water-lilies, abundant wildlife visible from the passageways to the Lodge, we offer easy access to the Amazonian forest for walks and canoeing depending on the season.
Reliable guides, native to the region and familiar with the flora and fauna, are available to lead visitors through the meanders of the great forest at night as well as day.
2. Going Native
Do you want to experience the Amazon like a native?
If you choose this option you will travel with us to a native village and stay in Josias' (Head Guide) home and be immersed in the village. Yet sleep in a bed and have equal service as if staying in our lodge.
It is a wonderful introduction into Amazon culture, life, and society. You will be sure to make many local friends.
3. Roughing it! Camping in the jungle.
The level of intensity is up to you. We can can alongside the river or in the jungle with tents with all our gear and food. Or you can choose to challenge yourself to enter the jungle with only a machette and minimal supplies and learn to live off the jungle and build your own shelter.
4. Luxury Hotel Option*
Explore the Amazon while lodging in luxury and style. Air Conditioned rooms, TV, WiFi, indoor pool, and private master chef on call.
Spend your days exploring the Amazon and the intriguingly historic city of Iquitos and enjoy your hotel and night life at night.
